Our 40-item, on-line "quiz" measures your skill in building relationships. This Networking Competency Assessment© (NCA) was designed by thought leaders Anne Baber & Lynne Waymon, co-authors of Make Your Contacts Count (AMACOM, 2nd edition). The NCA is based on their 20 years of work with clients large and small, in corporate, government, association, and university settings.

Two ways to get the Networking Competency Assessment

  1. To order an individual copy of the NCA for $20, 
    When we receive notice from PayPal, we'll send you an "invitation" email containing a link to your Assessment, with complete instructions for taking it and printing out your results.

  2. To arrange for your employees, members, or students to take the Assessment, call Lynne Waymon at 301-589-8633 or email her at LWaymon@ContactsCount.com.

The NCA is great for programs in Leadership Development, Mentoring, Business Development, Sales, Diversity, Employee Development, and Career Development.  Or offer it to all of your conference attendees, employees, members, or students.

We’ll need 3 things from you to set up the NCA for your group:

  1. An Excel spread sheet listing the email addresses of all who will take the NCA in column A, the first names in column B, and the last names in column C.  The vendor who handles the administration of our Assessment will send an invitation email to everyone telling them how to access their NCA on the Start Date.
  2. A Start Date and an End Date during which the NCA will be “open” for your group.
  3. The name of your group or the title of your program.  This will appear on the Results page of each person’s Assessment.

What are the benefits of taking the NCA?

The NCA measures mastery of networking skills necessary for business and career success. When you see your Results, two things happen:

  • Your view of the crucial role that networking skills play in the workplace will be greatly expanded.
  • You’ll use the Results (including tips, tools, and strategies for each of the 40 items) to decide which of The 8 Networking Competencies to focus on developing next.
